I love going for a walk through nature. Normally I go by myself, but sometimes I go with others. It’s where I do my best thinking.
Recently, on one of these walks, I challenged myself with a few revealing questions. The answers made me pivot the direction I was heading in life. They challenged my views and dissolved my false beliefs.
I Realized How Powerful A Question Can Truly Be
So, below I put together seven questions to ask yourself. They will encourage you to live, and not just exist.
Don’t worry, there is no right or wrong answer. This is not a test. All I want is for you to think about your answers, carefully. Do this alone. Somewhere quite. Oh, and be sure to be honest with yourself. This exercise means nothing if you’re not.
So here we go, my thought provoking questions for you are…
1. If Not Now Then When?
2. Are You Holding Onto Something That You Need To Let Go Of?
3. Do You Ask Enough Questions? Or Do You Settle For What You Know?
4. What Makes You Smile?
5. If You Had A Friend Who Spoke To You In The Same Way That You Sometimes Speak To Yourself, How Long Would You Allow That Person To Be Your Friend?
6. When Was The Last Time You Lived Outside Your Comfort Zone?
7. Have You Done Anything Lately Worth Remembering?
I know this is a short list of thought provoking questions. However, I want to keep this document alive. I will continue to add more as I go, and I’d love to add your contributions too.
I’ve asked myself these questions and many more over the years. Each answer took my further on my own journey of evolution.
Answer these questions truthfully, then come up with your own. The ones I listed above should act as a good starting point to help you reflect on where you’re heading. You must challenge your mind, in order to break free from shackled thinking.
Dissolve your boundaries. Discover what you’re truly capable of. Start right now.
